We are a friendly organization formed in 2002, which recognizes the independence of sweeps and tries not to interfere too much with their work.

We have set standards and we introduced training for new sweeps, with the aim of improving the safety of and providing a better service for customers.

All our sweeps are assessed and carry public liability insurance as well as having a CRB check every 3 years.

We currently have 2 meetings a year, one at Tiverton (Devon) and one at Falfield (South Glos.) We always have a speaker from our industry, helping to keep us all up to date with the latest technology and news. It’s great to get together; we share a very decent subsidized meal and are able to chat with others with perhaps the same sorts of problems and experiences. You are sure to find help if you need it, if you haven’t done so already from our telephone system that will always put you in touch with an experienced member of the committee.
